Home renovation in Hackney

Kitchen extensions, bathrooms and house renovations in Hackney, Haggerston, Dalston, Stoke Newington and Hackney Downs, including a recent kitchen extension and refurbishment in E2.

The homes
Victorian terraces and villas across most of the borough, Georgian houses around De Beauvoir and Stoke Newington Church Street, converted warehouses towards Shoreditch and large council-built estates. Terraces with a rear addition are ideal for side-return kitchen extensions and L-shaped lofts.
Good to know
Hackney Council CPZs cover nearly the whole borough; we arrange trade permits and skip licences. Many streets are in conservation areas (De Beauvoir, Clapton Square, Stoke Newington), so dormers and extensions are checked for permitted development before drawings start. The council's planning portal is slow, so we build the consent period into the programme.

What we do in Hackney

Kitchen extensions into the side return or out to the rear, loft conversions, bathrooms and full house renovations. Our recent Hackney project combined a kitchen extension with refurbishment of the existing house under one contract.

Extensions done as one project

We build the extension and the kitchen together, so the steel, drainage, underfloor heating and lighting are designed around the kitchen layout. Drawings and planning are handled with our architect partners; the structure, first fix and finishing are ours.

Also covering Shoreditch, Bethnal Green, London Fields, Clapton and Stamford Hill.
