The homes
Large Victorian and Edwardian houses, most now divided into flats, with Georgian houses in the village, Arts and Crafts houses around Hampstead Garden Suburb and mansion blocks along Finchley Road. Period details are worth keeping; services behind them are usually at the end of their life.

Much of NW3 is conservation area and a good number of houses are listed, so we check what consent is needed before anything is specified and keep original features where they matter. Camden CPZs run all day; permits and skip licences are arranged ahead. Flats in converted houses need freeholder consent and careful protection of shared halls and stairs.
